Weekend Ventures is a 54 hours weekend event for aspiring entrepreneurs, designers & developers to come together, share ideas, form teams, build prototypes/ services & launch startup! The event provides mentorship, networking, resources and incentives for individuals and teams to go from idea to launch.
Since it’s inception in 2011, Weekend Ventures has reached to 4 cities conducting 9 events, inspiring & educating 200+ aspiring entrepreneurs to launch 70+ startups across India. In 2014, Weekend Ventures has kicked off with an event in Delhi, happening from Jan 31st to Feb 2nd.
The event is proudly sponsored by Microsoft, Kotak, 10,000 Startups, .com/.net, Google For Entrepreneurs and noisyox along with others.
Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing the forthcoming day with mentorship by experts, business model development, and basic prototype creation, Weekend Ventures concludes with Sunday night demos and presentations to Angel Investors & Venture Capitalists.
Participants build prototypes & create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. Many industry experts attend the event and talk on startups/entrepreneurship.
Dozens of entrepreneurs from your city will attend the event to provide mentorship to participants. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education.
Mr. Sunil Goyal , Founder & CEO at YourNest Angel Fund and Anuj Pulstya, Entrepreneur & Angel Investor will be mentoring the startups at the Delhi event. The participants will also have great learning from Gurpreet Singh Co Founder & CEO at Ideaz Inc, Shabnam Aggarwal Co-founder at Perspectful Advisors, Raj Arora Founder/CEO at SchoolAdmissions.in and Animesh Jain VP – Online Marketing.
The Winners at Weekend Ventures Delhi event will get 3 months incubation support from Amity Incubator and direct entry into final round of TLabs – Most sought after Startup Accelerator in India, among lot of other prizes. The registration fee for the weekend event is Rs. 2000.
