An Eye-Opening Video: How Blind People Can Use Instagram on an iPhone

Below is a tutorial on how blind people can use Instagram on an iPhone 4S, aided by Apple’s built-in accessibility features. The video was made a few months ago by ‘Blind Film Critic’ Tommy Edison, who has been blind since birth but likes making videosabout “the funny side” of it.

The video is amazing, mainly because one rarely stops and thinks about how those with impaired vision use modern products and technologies.

It’s another reminder of how the plethora of things we take for granted can be out of reach for many of us … but not necessarily.

Edison’s Instagram profile can be found here, by the way.

Turns out he’s a better photographer than most of my friends.
