One of India’s coding and experiential learning startup, Tinker Coders announced the launch of ‘De<Code> the Future’ Campaign, wherein the company is offering free coding, AI and experiential learning courses, focusing on 10,000+ private and government schools PAN India. The year-long initiative begins in order to bring digital revolution in line with NEP 2020 by bridging the competitive connectivity gap amongst the economically weaker section’s school students.

The company has tied up with 200+ private and government schools, out of which 50,000 school students have already been registered for the offered studies. Initially, the campaign began in Indian states like Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Mizoram, Odisha, Manipur, Nagaland, and Assam. It aims to target one million+ school students and expects to reach 10,000+ schools by 2021-2022.

The De<Code> the Future campaign will open doors for students to access quality digital education, as the programs are smartphone friendly. Students can learn coding, AI, and experiential learning through their mobile phones and through the Atal Tinkering Labs established in their schools.

The free program includes access to live and pre-recorded sessions and tinkering labs in schools. It appends four hours of live and interactive coding sessions by Tinker Coders experts and 16 hours of self-paced sessions through video tutorials, covered in the academic year. The courses are available in English as well as in multiple regional languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bangla, Punjabi, Marathi, Oriya, Gujarati, and many more, so that majority of the students can come under the banner of the campaign.

On this occasion, Anoop Gautam, CEO and Co-founder of Tinker Coders, said in a statement, “There has been a shift in the concept of literacy, which includes digital reading and learning of complicated technology. Tinker Coders is therefore proud to launch the De<Code> the Future Campaign, where the process of bringing about the digital revolution has begun.”

“We trust that the incorporation of technological expertise at the grassroots level would improve human talent and the supply of early-age professionals. The modification of language gaps in the comprehension of technical programs would also boost social and economic stability. The company stands together in the renaissance of the education sector and believes that this initiative will allow India to become a data-smart country,” he added.

Recently, Tinker Coders received an undisclosed amount of funding in its seed funding round from its parent company, STEMROBO Technologies for further expansion in Indian and international markets.  The company claims to have experienced a 200% upsurge in demand for AI, Python, and Coding courses among the 6–18-year-old students.
