Fuji, Phoenix Business Inc. take jump ahead in SaaS

Fuji America Corporation and its partner Phoenix Business Inc. announced they’ve completed close to a year long project to implement SAP’s Enterprise Application System, taking a jump ahead in SaaS.

Parent company Fuji Corporation is a global manufacturer of state of the art systems, and SAP Enterprise Application System is expected to improve the organization’s end to end business processes, from order to customer delivery.

In a press release Tom Zabkiewicz, Executive Vice President of Fuji credited the Phoenix team for developing a realistic transition plan and successfully completing the project last year. The project marked a milestone in Fuji America’s Modernization initiative and was a strategic move they realized they needed to make in order to provide their end users with further support.

The limited capabilities of our legacy system yielded serious limitations in our ability to grow in technology with our customers. This new system implementation has not only streamlined our customer service efficiencies allowing us to be recognized as a progressive supplier, but has also offered us the ability to better govern our operations from the initial Sale through the logistics and ultimately the revenue recognition processes”.

Recent research has shown that by 2021, 73% of organizations will be using all or mostly SaaS solutions. Nearly 85% of small companies have already invested in SaaS options.

Despite security concerns, 93% of CIOs indicate they are already adopting or are soon planning to adopt SaaS solutions.

The growth of SaaS has been credited to the availability of useful products in the enterprise IT market segment.
