GS Caltex India launches digital campaignas National Mechanic’s Day to honour mechanics of India on 12th anniversary

GS Caltex is one of the leading premium lubricants companies in India and is known for its premium lubricants for superior performance in the B2B and B2C segment. The company celebrates its 12th anniversary and dedicates it to the mechanics of the country to honour the mechanics for playing a pivotal role in keeping the vehicles roadworthy and safe for driving. The brand celebrates 2nd February as ‘National Mechanic’s Day’ and announces to celebrate it every year on their Anniversary.

GS Caltex released a new campaign ad film on Mechanics Day today on all digital platforms. The campaign is designed around the emotions of a mechanic and their understanding of an automobile as if they are talking to the machine and it has life. Giving the mechanics a pedestal of ‘Gaadi Ke Doctors’.

During the pandemic when it seemed like the world came to a halt, it was vehicles that kept it moving and what happens when a vehicle stalls? The answer is we call the mechanics. From doing all that we ask them to do, and then doing some more, they have always been there for us. GS Caltex thinks it’s about time we appreciate them for all that they do. To celebrate this milestone of completing 12 years in India, GS Caltex wants to thank every mechanic in the country and celebrate this milestone as National Mechanics Day from now on.

Speaking about the campaign, K Madhu Mohan, General Manager – Marketing, GS Caltex India said, “Completing 12 years is a glorious feat for any brand. With GS Caltex nearing that milestone, we wanted to celebrate it with grandeur and give back to the mechanic community that makes us who we are. These skilled men and women have contributed immensely to our success, and to celebrate their dedication, we decided to dedicate a day to them! For us, Mechanic’s Day is more than a celebration or a campaign. It’s the recognition that mechanics deserve, and GS Caltex is proud to be the pioneer of this movement.”
