On the eve of Horasis India Meeting, taking in the Adelaide Convention Centre in North Terrace, Australia, the weekend’s event will bring together more than 300 of the forum’s most senior community members. Martin Hamilton-Smith, Former Minister of South Australia for Trade and Investment, Australia

Martin Hamilton-Smith is an Australian politician who represented the South Australian House of Assembly seat of Waite for over 20 years. First elected as a candidate for the Liberal Party, he served as the Minister for Investment and Trade, Minister for Defence Industries and Minister for Veterans’ Affairs before becoming Minister for Space Industries and Health Industries.

Nick Champion is the Minister for Trade and Investment. Minister Champion oversees activities that enable economic growth in South Australia by attracting investment, increasing exports, and building a global reputation.

Anil Wadhwa, Former Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs; Former Ambassador to Italy, Thailand, Oman and Poland 

A senior civil servant, Anil Wadhwa has served as the Indian Ambassador to Italy, Poland, Oman and Thailand. He currently serves a Senior Fellow & Cluster Leader at the Vivekananda International Foundation in New Delhi.

Barry O’Farrell, Former Premier of New South Wales

Barry O’Farrell is an Australian politician who was Australia’s High Commissioner to India and non-resident Ambassador to Bhutan for three years. O’Farrell was the 43rd Premier of New South Wales and Minister for Western Sydney from 2011 to 2014.

Marnie Hughes-Warrington’s areas of expertise are the philosophy of history, historiography, and world history as an esteemed professor and educator. She is also the Secretary General for the International Commission for the History and Theory of Historiography (ICHTH).
