1) open Unherd.co
This shouldn’t be of any problem. The page loads quickly and you scroll down to see the features. You are about to know important stuff first and private messaging etc.
2) Sign in with your twitter account and authorize the app
3) play with unherd.co
Here is the landing page for what you have been waiting till now. Look at top right, you can see post tweet option. You don’t need to login to Twitter or switch any tab if you want to post a new tweet. On the top left, you can view your own stats of tweets, followers, following etc. All in all, you can do 5 things when loggen in Unherd.co:
There are some glitches here and there, at the moment. For instance, when I log into Unherd and later into Twitter – I did find some interesting conversations being missed out. Unless they appear on my Unherd screen, there is no way for me to keep doing the same actions again, so relevant stuff comes up. So, initially – you might want to use both twitter and unherd until you think the unherd screen almost captures the important stuff.
Also, as with Twitter lists – we all have lists of people whom we’d like to follow irrespective of “what” they tweet about. I badly missed this feature, when moving to Unherd. We’ve noticed one minor technical issue too – When you favorite a tweet in unherd, it actually gets favorited, but doesn’t show you the same on unherd page.
Last but not the least – as lot of people use twitter on mobile – it would serve unherd.co team to come up with a mobile first approach. It will help drive quick sign-ups and user engagement.
We strongly predict that Unherd is going to boom the Internet market in the coming months. We bet that till now you are reading this review, you already know about Unherd.co. Start using it.
