According to a report by ecommerce optimization company Monetate, around 85% of online shoppers know that websites track their activity and 75% want them to do so and personalize their shopping experience.
But there are some who do not want that as well. While we all want websites to be smart and intuitive we also want them to be more human, intelligent and life-like. The report says, around one-third of us don’t want our website activity tracked, and a quarter of us don’t want the websites we shop to personalize our experience at all.
