Nokia 808 Pureview coming soon, tomorrow maybe?

The Nokia 808 Pureview is one of the most anticipated launches among smartphones and its India launch is due very soon. The company has put up a countdown on the official site for the smartphone which currently reads somewhere around 30 hours remaining. We expect this to be the countdown to the launch of the phone in India.

Every time you visit the page, it presents you a quiz about an image and asks you to guess the story behind it. “1 Picture, Many Stories” is what Nokia has been marketing this product as. Here is a small brief about the Nokia 808’s features:

– 1.3 GHz ARM 11 CPU with 512 MB RAM

– 41MP Camera

– 16GB of internal storage expandable to 48GB

– 4 inch screen with 6 hours of 3G talktime

The company listed the price as Rs 29,999 a few days ago but took off the price a few days later. We expect it to be priced a little higher though. Only time can tell how the market responds to this.
