Insurance: ‘IL IGNITING MINDS’ Case Study Competition – Season 4 Launched
ICICI Lombard, an Indian private general insurer, concluded the Season 4 edition of its flagship business case-study competition, IL IGNITING MINDS, in collaboration with IIM Kozhikode – one of India’s premier management institutes. Designed to give young innovators a real-world platform to solve meaningful industry challenges, the initiative received 1,900+ student registrations from 35+ unique premier institutes across India.

Academic Research: Australian & Indian Uni Expand Academic Partnership with Dual PhD Programme & Research Excellence Initiative
Griffith University, Australia and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University, have announced a landmark expansion of their more than decade-long strategic partnership, formalising a Dual Award Doctoral Programme and a joint commitment to establish the Griffith–MAHE Centre of Research Excellence at the MAHE campus.

Knowledge Collaboration: National Economic Forum & Canadian Uni Sign MoU to Strengthen Talent Mobility & Knowledge Exchange
Cape Breton University (CBU), a Canadian public university, and the National Economic Forum (NEF), entered into a non-commercial Service and Cooperation Agreement, to support CBU’s India engagements, deepen institutional linkages and strengthen higher education collaboration between India and Canada.

Jagdip Rana, Executive Director, National Economic Forum, added, “This engagement is anchored in a clear objective—to translate global academic intent into structured, high-impact collaboration for India. By convening the right government and institutional stakeholders, we are enabling a more deliberate and outcome-driven approach to international partnerships, particularly in areas that strengthen talent mobility, research depth, and institutional capacity.”
Forward Deployed Engineering: FDE Accelerator Program Launched to Transform Enterprise Talent into AI-Native Forward Deployed Engineers
Revature, a technology talent as a service provider, launched its FDE Accelerator Program, a new initiative designed to evolve enterprise talent into AI-native Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), a new class of engineers who bridge code, systems, and real business outcomes.

“AI talent scarcity isn’t a cycle. It’s a crisis,” said Vivek Ravichandran, Revature’s Senior Vice President and Head of Training, Technology, and Platform. “Enterprises know they need FDEs, but most are either hoping their developers evolve through traditional upskilling programs or waiting for the market to catch up. Neither approach moves at the speed AI transformation requires. The FDE Accelerator Program is how we solve it.”
Virtual Courtroom: Launch of First-of-its-Kind AI-Enabled VR Courtroom Simulation
A first-of-its-kind AI enabled Virtual Reality Courtroom Simulation Programme was introduced, marking a significant step forward in immersive legal education. The programme places learners inside a fully interactive virtual courtroom, enabling them to practice advocacy, evidence presentation, judicial engagement, and strategic legal reasoning in realistic, high stakes scenarios. It is designed to transform how courtroom skills are taught by moving from theory to experiential learning.

Launched during the Sixteenth Convocation Ceremony of Gujarat National Law University, the initiative is driven by APM Terminals Pipavav under its Corporate Social Responsibility commitment, and developed by Maersk Training for Gujarat Maritime University. While applicable across diverse areas of law, the platform also supports complex maritime disputes and sector specific case simulations.
Hon’ble Justice Surya Kant, Chief Justice of India, said, “This is an impressive initiative by APM Terminals Pipavav. It is a valuable step towards strengthening the practical training of lawyers and I can see a promising future for it”.
